For Earth Day at Parklands North Creek, we hosted two of our most eco-friendly vendors, Cascadian Building Maintenance and the Best Bees Company, in the Tenant HUB. They came prepared with an abundant amount of information on their efforts to stay friendly towards their environments in all their company operations.
Cascadian General Manager, Kelly Foster, showcased the tools and cleaning products that they use daily that make their operations eco-friendly. They even raffled off a commercial vacuum!
We also had Best Bees representative, Nola, onsite to explain the process of commercial bee keeping and all the benefits that installing the hives would bring to our park. We had a “Name the Queen” contest and an informative fact sheet about the bees.
Shortly following Earth Day, we also hosted an E-Recycle Drive with 1Green Planet. This event offered a sustainable way for all our tenants to get rid of old electronic items such as computers, printers, phones, tools and more.
