Glassybaby was founded in Seattle in 2001 with the intention to give. Lee Rhodes was battling cancer for the third time and encountered so many patients who could not afford basic necessities while undergoing chemotherapy treatment. This sparked the idea of glassybaby and the desire to give healing and hope to those in need. Since then, glassybaby has donated $3.00 of every item sold to non-profit organizations to help anyone and everyone. In 2019, they will be donating their $10 millionth dollar to non-profit organizations.

Each glassybaby is handblown and unique to one another, giving each recipient their own personal vessel. Their two main shops are located in Seattle, Washington and Berkeley, California. Glassybaby creates different vessels including drinkers, rockers, and the classic votives. With the great array of designs and colors, there is one for every occasion and household.

Parklands North Creek has been pleased to team up with glassybaby to hold many pop-up events for every season. Recently, glassybaby joined us at our Annual Tenant Picnic and allowed us to select the non-profit that would receive $3.00 of every glassybaby sold at the event. Together, we supported the Seattle Humane Society with these donations. We look forward to having them out again to see what new designs and colors they have for the fall season.
